Sugar is gotten from the extracts of sugarcane and it is widely used all over the world. There are some factories in Nigeria that patronize these farmers who are into sugarcane farming business by buying their sugarcane; without these farmers there won't be sugarcane, without the factories there won't be sugar, and without us the consumers there won't be any profit made from sales of the sugarcane or sugar. So, you see; we all need each other in the line of business.

How to make your sugarcane grow well to meet the demands of any company:

    Application of fertilizers and manure
Fertilizers and manure helps a crop to grow well with enough nutrients. Many crops die or end up not growing the way it should when proper and regular application of manure and fertilizer isn't done. So, if you want your crop to be in perfect condition, application of manure should be done regularly.

Get rid of pests and disease
Diseases and pests are the killers of many crops; if your sugarcane must grow well, you have to get rid of pests and disease from affecting the sugarcane, to avoid low cost of commodity when it's being sold. Some companies won't even buy it from you, because it will be considered unhealthy and unfit for them to use.

For good sales of sugarcane, proper management has to be the top priority of the farmer.
